PM Series PTC Thermistors
MS Series Motor Starter
PTC thermistors are used to "start" single phase compressor motors for refrigerators, deep freezers, and air-conditioning units. They function by channeling high intensity currents through the starting coil for short period. This generates sufficient torque force to initiate turning of the main motor. The PTC auto-regulating property will effectively "switch off" the staring coil after the starting cycle.


PD Series PTC Thermistors
DG/DD Series Degausser
PTC thermistors are used to provide short pulse of high intensity currents through the demagnetizing coil of TV monitors to offset picture distortions caused by magnetization of the shadow mask and other internal metallic parts of the CRT tube.
